Data Collection and Management: Collect and organize data related to imports, exports, and logistics from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
Data Analysis: Analyze data sets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing insights that can inform strategic decisions and improve operational efficiency.
Reporting: Create and maintain regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate findings and key performance indicators to stakeholders.
Forecasting: Utilize statistical and data modeling techniques to forecast demand, supply chain needs, and market trends.
Performance Metrics: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate and improve logistics and supply chain operations.
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize logistics processes, reduce costs, and enhance productivity through data-driven recommendations.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to assess market opportunities, competition, and potential risks in North America, the Middle East, and the Far East.
Data Integrity: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security by implementing data quality and data governance best practices.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement, sales, and finance, to align data analysis with organizational objectives.
Data Technology: Utilize data analysis tools, software, and database systems for effective data management and reporting.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about changes in international trade regulations, tariffs, and compliance requirements and incorporate this knowledge into data analysis.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as data science, statistics, business analytics, or a similar discipline.
Proven experience as a data analyst, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Strong statistical and data modeling skills.
Experience with databases and data management systems.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with logistics and international trade concepts is a plus.
Multilingual abilities may be preferred for communication with partners in different regions.
